I took one sip of this smoothie and had flashbacks to childhood. Those dreamy, creamy Orange Creamsicle popsicles....yum!! I tried to recreate the deliciousness in a health-a-fied version by removing the junk and adding spinach (you can't taste the spinach, I promise!). And if you want to take it a step further and make an "adult version" by adding a shot of your favorite liquor, I won't tell anybody.
Citrus Blast Smoothie
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup coconut water
1/2 cup filtered water
2 handfuls spinach
1 orange, peeled
1/2 cup pineapple
8-10 ice cubes
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
2. Add vodka (or not) and enjoy. 😉
Note: Increase or decrease ice cubes until you find the right consistency for you.
