Recipe: Morning Smoothie {Kid Approved}

Happy Friday Friends! Hope you all had a great week and are prepared for the chilly weekend. The temps here in Atlanta finally dropped so we spent this past week snuggled by the fire while we had our smoothie. Regardless of the weather, the kids and I have our smoothie every morning, it is kind of like free health insurance. This smoothie is packed full of vitamins, veggies, protein and a healthy dose of fat and the flavor is DELICIOUS and will keep you full for hours.

Morning Smoothie

♡ 9oz unsweetend almond milk (or milk of choice
♡ 2 tbsp protein (I use DFH Organic Vanilla Pea)
♡ 1 scoop collagen (I use Vital Proteins)
♡ 1 tsp cinnamon
♡ 1/2 tsp turmeric
♡ 1 tsp lucuma
♡ 1 tsp mct oil
♡ 1 tsp chia seeds
♡ 1 cup frozen organic blueberries
♡ 1 cup frozen spinach or kale
♡ 6 1/2” slices frozen squash (steamed, then frozen)
♡ 1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower
♡ 1/8-1/4 avocado
♡ 2” chunk of banana
♡ 1 tbsp almond butter
♡ toppings (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add ingredients to high speed blender in the order listed above. Blend on high until smooth.

  2. Top with you favorite toppings. Enjoy.
